Anything further I can do before I take legal action against Amazon?

I have had no disbursement since 24th October, There was one started on the 27th October but that was cancelled by Amazon.

At that time I was just completing verification and I uploaded an incorrect document, I got an email about it and sent the correct document the following day and full verification was completed.

I have received no disbursements since and created a case id some weeks ago about this and was told everything was fine and I was scheduled for the 3rd December. This was not sent and a flurry of support cases opened and closed this morning have got me no where.

The latest response and close of ticket says:

"So on 24 October 2024 you have received an email saying that payment information you have entered on Seller Central does not match the documents submitted"

However that answer is incorrect as it asked for "The business registration number that you entered in Seller Central does not match the number in the document that you have provided."

I provided that and full account verification was completed."

I resume my error back on the 24th October triggered something else, and whilst my account is now fully verified and in good standing that trigger has not been reversed

I am now at the stage where I shall not be fulfilling any further orders as I simply feel I am just giving my products away for free.

Is there any one else I can reach out to other than SS who simply can not get there head around this issue.

Many Thanks

Mark

" I shall not be fulfilling any further orders "

The problem with that is that you will end up with a horrendous pre-fulfilment cancellation rate and your account likely to be deactivated.

You could maybe try the MD - managingdirector@amazon.co.uk - you will need to quote your case ID - but you need to be sure that your account is fully verified, with green ticks against all the important bits of your account info. - that looks like it is possibly the issue.

Excellent advice and clarification from JillyB as usual. Can I just say that correcting your mistake and then providing the correct number and getting it verified within 1 day by Amazon would be highly unusual!!

Also as mentioned you will be on DD+7 once verified wnich delays all payments by a considerable time - check it out if you dont know what this means.

More chance of drawning blood from a stone than getting your money from Amazon. I have a healthy account no issues. I have literally £4k of Payments in my Balance (Always use Amazon Labels) I literally get like £300-£400 every 2 weeks paid out, my Balance just keeps going up and up and up but hardly ever see the money

How are you registered with HMRC ? - sole trader, partnership or ltd. ? - as Business registration number is only for Ltds and partnerships. If you are a sole-trader then you need to check that Amazon have your UTR, and check your bank account name.

I would downgrade to an individual account (so you don't pay the £30 monthly fee). Then put yourself on holiday so you don't get any orders to fulfill whilst this is sorted

Hi if you go to your payments dashboard you will see a breakdown of your earnings on Amazon. The first column is standard orders this refers to the amounts that are available for disbursement though you may have to wait from 7 - 14 days the first time an amount shows here before it will actually be available for disbursement. After this whatever shows here are your available funds which you will be able to disburse as per your Amazon disbursement rate I.E on demand or fortnightly etc. Below this are your deferred transaction amounts which will be available for disbursement 7 days after confirmed delivery or 14 days after expected delivery. You can view when these Amounts will be released by going to transaction view and in the Transaction status drop down box selecting deferred transactions and clicking update.

This should show you when your funds will be released which may not be until the 17 of December
