FNSKU Labels- Do i need a different barcode for each individual item?
Hi there, I have a new listing, is there an individual FNSKU label for each item i sell? Or is there a FNSKU for each variant i sell. I am asking the manufacturer to add the barcode, but they think it’s just 1 barcode variant per product variant. Im confused as Amazon give you a list of 200 separate barcodes?
My first time making a shipment if someone can help me with this. Thanks

Hi
Each one of your products/listings require a separate EAN, including any variations. You cannot list variations using the same EAN
You may not need to apply FNSKU labels, you will only know whether you are required to once you begin the shipment.
You can apply them if you want to, even if not required to, to avoid your inventory being commingled with another seller, selling the same product.
Make sure you obtain your licensed barcodes from GS1, as they are the only ones that Amazon approve. It will cost you roughly £200 (first year) for 1,000 codes - you need to renew your subscription each year
