No, you do not.
There are many posts on here that include the correct way to appeal, and what to include.
What was the reason for your deactivation ?

Yes we did, but they still refused to activate the account

Hello @SUNGLO,
This is Krish to help you with your concerns.
We understand your account has been deactivated as it is related to another account. You will have to reactivate the account associated with your account by submitting an appeal by going to Account Health Dashboard of the related account
I understand, you have submitted the documents to reactivate the account. However, in order to assist you in a better way, please provide us the latest notification received on the related account.
If you once owned the account/were a rights owner but no longer own it/no longer have account rights, please submit an appeal by going to Account Health Dashboard and provide supporting documentation to show that you no longer own it/no longer have any relationship to this account.
Supporting documentation may include sales deed, purchase agreement, or business transfer agreement, contract termination, etc.
- Sales deed is a document that would help you to prove that you have sold your business and there is no relation with the related account.
- Purchase agreement is a binding contract between the buyer and the seller.
- Business transfer agreement will include the terms of the sale and transfer of the goods and services.
- Contract termination is a document procured once both parties have fulfilled their obligations and legally ended their contracts.
Note: All the documents should be legally verifiable.
The forums community and I are here to support you, please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Thanks and Regards,
Krish

Hi @SUNGLO
Thank you for providing the notification you have received on the account which is flagged as related.
As per our policies/guidelines a seller on the platform needs to maintain a single account, in any manner if any information is shared between the accounts this action is taken (note- a relation is not solely based on the documents)
Hence as per the notification mentioned
You would need to appeal with required documents, ensure all the requirements are met while you have it attached.
• Once you successfully reactivated that account (the account which belongs to your spouse as per your scenario), kindly submit and appeal from your current account with the name of that account and the reactivation date
(post which you can make a choice of closing any of the accounts as per your preference/choice)
If you need help in regards to the appeal from the account belonging to your wife.
kindly click on Help on the seller central home page> get more support> mention your concern in the given space choosing the defined option, so that the appropriate team would get in touch for support.
Regards,
Xavier

So… Are all these correct:
- your account is a sole trader business account and you are registered with hmrc
- you only have a joint personal bank account, no business ones
- your wife now has a ltd company you’re not named on
- you both sell the same items bought in your sole trader name
- both accounts combined turnover is less than 85k
- you are UK based

There’s some very selective question answering on this thread, if you want help you really need to be open with everyone

Why would you set up a brand new limited company just to close the account?
Just to be clear:
your are SUNGLO
the related account is GLOSSEY
but the new limited company is SUNGLO & ASSOCIATE LTD which is in your name?
and you already have one called GLOSSEY LTD which is in your wifes name so why isnt that on the Amazon account?

So is your account a business account?
