Confirm order details message = description misleading
Messaging a Buyer when they have bought and there is a need to check the order details for a customised item, I used the option
Confirm order details
Ask your customer a specific order-related question prior to shipping their order.
However when the Buyer only responds after the expected dispatch date, that message option has no effect and Amazon still issue a Late Dispatch Time penalty
That makes the description misleading - one lives and learns
I did expect that the description meant that dispatch time would begin based on when the buyer replied with confirmation - stupid me!

Dispatch time would never change, once a customer has placed an order the dispatch and delivery times are then set in stone and won’t be changed.
You need to try to set your customisation up to avoid any required contact with the buyer
