Product listing removed due to GTIN codes that do not match the brand associated to the ASIN

Hi All,

I have one product listing that was removed by Amazon and the reason they stated the issue description as

" This ASIN has GTIN codes that do not match the brand associated to the ASIN. GTIN codes are reliable data that are used to limit duplicate products in the catalogue and ensure product authenticity. We verify the authenticity of GTINs by checking the GS1 database and GTINs that do not match information in GS1 are considered invalid. We recommend obtaining your GTINs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling GTIN licences) to ensure the appropriate information is reflected in the GS1 database. If you believe we have removed your ASIN in error, contact Selling Partner Support here. Repeatedly creating ASINs for brands you do not have a relationship with will result in the removal of ASIN creation abilities"

The product’s GTIN / UPC code is issued by official GS1 website with the brand name associated. Therefore, I have opened a case and have provided relevant info such as GTIN Certificate, email information and screenshot of my GS1 account with the GTIN, brand name proof. However they requested further information such as trademark, copyright… The brand name currently is not trademarked yet. Could anyone advise me what to do next step? This is the new listing and I have quite a large inventory, it would be massive loss if the product eventually got to be stranded.

Thank you in advance.

Have you applied for brand approval instead ?

I have actually applied twice using the same GTIN / UPC code. The first time has been rejected due to the reason they stated the image is not clear and not in real world image. I then used the same GTIN code to apply the second time and it has been approved. Yes, the brand name is match with the GS1 database.
