Competitor inventory hold abuse
Hi Guys:) I hope you are well!
2 days ago my key ASIN got attacked propably by competition - there is a buyer or a group of buyers that are buying my product all the time. Their goal is to get my listing out of stock. I turned the listing to FBM, set max order quantity 1, and… within 13 hours I received 600 orders from this „buyer”.
I also received a buyer message with the threat.
We are the creator&only seller of this ASIN, and the product is a part of our brand registered brand.
It’s just a blackhat attack from our competition (I am 80% sure who stands behind it)
I am creating cases, contacting Amazon managers, calling them, but so far I hit the wall.
My plan is to:
- Block this buyer or group of buyers from placing orders in our store.
- Cancel all orders that this buyer placed (overall 900 within last 2 days, and growing…)

Did you ensure the ean and brand name on the listing matches your product ?
Is it your supplier by any chance ?
Have you reported to SS ?
- Unfortunately you cannot block amazon buyers
- They probably won’t convert from pending to unshipped , but if they do, cancelling them will destroy your metrics
