Account at the risk of deactivation - affected my buy box

Hi,

I mistakenly sent a wrong tracking number to a customer which led to her filing an A-Z claim and was granted. Now whether she deserves the claim or not is a discussion for another day. After granted the customer a claim my account health changed to ‘At the risk of deactivation’ I noticed that all my products went out of the buy box and when a customer searches for the product, it shows ‘see all buying options’ instead of add to basket.

This happened with my UK account but I also noticed that my Italy buy box score is also declining.

My questions are

  1. How long would it take till the negative effect rating goes away exactly and what can I do to improve this?

  2. Is my account health the soul reason my buy box is zero.

  3. Those this effect also affect my EU and USA selling privileges?

Thank you

Hello @Avakino1,

Thanks for reaching out and posting your concern.

The ‘at risk’ banner on your account health dashboard automatically pops up when any performance metric goes above the threshold or if there is any policy violation. There is no manual intervention here. The metrics are system calculated.

Eligibility to win the Buy Box is tied to specific seller performance criteria that identify the sellers who have consistently provided customers with a great buying experience.

Performance is marketplace specific. If you are not meeting the goals in UK, it shouldn’t effect ES, IT, FR, DE, NL or US.

There will be a 2 weeks lag in the 60 day window. For example, your current window would be between the “Aug 31, 2020 to Oct 29, 2020”. So if the orders impacting your metric are within this window, it will reflect.

You can find more information about how the metric works here.

Please review your order(s) to determine the cause of the defects. You can appeal any A-to-z claim, negative customer feedback, or service chargeback that you believe should not be counted in your order defect rate by visiting the following links:

Appeal A-to-z Claims.
Request removal of seller feedback.
Appeal Chargeback Claims.

Take a look here to understand how the Buy Box Works.

If you need more information on this, please reach out to our seller support team.

Best,
Ruth.
