Hello,
I'm a small seller who recently had my account deactivated for what Amazon labeled as "misbranding." I was selling cartoon-themed accessories like doll clothes and stickers that are compatible with well-known characters, just like people sell iPhone cases without being Apple.
I never claimed brand ownership, never used logos, and never misled customers. There were no complaints, no claims, no confusion just accessories, clearly described.
Yet, Amazon treated these listings as "brand infringement - misbranding" while dozens of other sellers continue to sell the same exact items. This inconsistency is unfair and disheartening. It feels like Amazon targets small and new sellers while protecting long-standing ones doing the same or worse.
larger and older accounts continue to sell the same listings without issue. This is deeply unfair and shows how Amazon enforces policies selectively, harming new and small sellers while turning a blind eye to high-volume accounts.
When I tried to appeal and submitted real invoices, Amazon asked for nearly impossible documents like the full supply chain of the supplier and and more..
I believe Amazon’s system failed to distinguish between accessory listings and counterfeit products. Instead of supporting genuine small businesses trying to follow the rules, Amazon shuts them down without real cause even when we try to cooperate, explain, and correct.
I kindly ask Amazon to review how these enforcement systems work, and to apply policies equally. especially when we, as small sellers, are doing everything possible to comply.
