Going to lose £1600 in FBA inventory, i need advice

Been trying to sort this problem for over 1 month with seller support now but having no luck.

One customer questioned if the product was fake (Out of 400 sales), so Amazon pulled the product down and threatened to destroy all inventory if i do not supply invoices.

I have been told that everything is okay with the invoices, baring the fact that they are ‘‘proforma’’, i have spoke to my supplier “Asmodee” and they cannot change the ‘‘proforma’’ on the invoices and Amazon completely refusing the accepting anything with proforma payment option.

So i am completely stuck with either party not moving on this and it seems like Amazon is going to destroy everything. Having some sleepless nights over this and endless stress, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Proforma is a request for payment which does not mean you have actually bought the product. You need to ask your supplier to send you the invoice once it was dispatched to you. Amazon needs to see that Invoice as Proforma is not the document they would accept as proof of purchase.

I have to agree with the above. Proforma, is not a proper invoice.
Your supplier needs to provide invoices for you.

Give them this description, as they obviously do not understand what a proforma actually is.

A proforma invoice is a preliminary bill or estimated invoice which is used to request payment from the committed buyer for goods or services before they are supplied . A proforma invoice includes a description of the goods, the total payable amount and other details about the transaction.

The thing is, between getting a proforma invoice and the goods being shipped/bought, the quantities can change due to out of stock etc. So Amazon is correct in asking for proper invoices.

Asmodee sends a “draft invoice” at first, then once you have paid they will then send an “A_R Invoice” which is a conformation of payment, but they both say exactly the same “Proforma-Credit Nil PPD Nil”

Proforma

So Asmodee is in the wrong ? I have spoke to them and they are telling me that they cannot change it.

Appreciate your guidance guys

… from their own website …

A tad strange for a company to openly publish anything to do with their “tax strategy”!!

As well as invoice being proforma / or not, it’s also got no website address and Does not have 10 units purchase
The website at least is a definite requirement for valid supply chain

Can you post the actual notification

Interestingly I just got the exact same reason why my appeal was not accepted for an inauthentic claim by a customer. I have used Asmodee for years and amazon have always accepted these invoices. I think the person is a little confused by the bottom of the invoice. We must have the same person looking at the invoice…

Very confused on how to explain this other than also providing them with the delivery note. I will let you know how it goes.

For the purposes of this exercise can you not remove the words Proforma from the invoice. It will then get you passed a bot and onto a human at least. But as stated above invoice needs to be newer.
