Hi all,
I have a question regarding FBA Inventory Reimbursement on returns (not returned).
All process looks like:
(example)
Selling
Sales: 13.99
Commision: -2.10
FBA fulfilment fee: -2.17
SUM: 9.72
Refund
Refund to buyer: -13.99
Commision (refund to me): 2.10
Refund commision : -0.42
SUM: -12.31
Reimbursement
SUM: 9.72
After all the difference is -2.59
It looks like Amazon did not refund me Refund commision : -0.42
and charged me again FBA fulfilment fee: -2.17
It looks like if customer “click” return but he did not do it I lost 2.59
It is even worse on EFN. I am loosing there 7 euro on above item.
Is it OK?
Regards

This is normal.
Amazon refund the lost income, as if the item was sold.
So they will not refund their commissions.
This is fine, you’ve still made a sale and made exactly the same amount as if Amazon didn’t step in a reimburse you.
Effectively losing £2.59 is the FBA fee + VAT (£2.17 x 1.2 = £2.60).
If you dispatched it yourself you’d still need to reimburse the customer the P&P and you’d bear these costs yourself.
You can open a case with seller support and they might be willing to give you a goodwill refund of the FBA fee. They’ve gone that for me before on one occasion that actually warranted it.
