Your Amazon.co.uk Selling Account
Hello,
Everything was fine my account since yesterday. I’ve received this email ( Please, check bottom of my post ).
Than I logged in and changed:
- My email
- My password
- Added 2nd step verification using my phone
- I was using hired server for few weeks and I after the email I started my own (physical)
Bang ! Few house later same email. And my account was on hold again ( no listings, all bank info deleted etc.)
I’ve contacted Amazon. They told me that they see attempt to log into my account and that’s all. No other info. Not very useful for me.
I went through password changing process again and I woke up with another email for same issue this morning.
Early today I created brand new email. Brand new username on my server also i’ve changed all admin passwords etc. My 2nd step ver. is still active and 30 minutes ago I have same email this time on Spanish !
I want to add that from all European marketplaces for my products im using only co.uk is . The other are INACTIVE.
Now im in stuck. Waiting for another A-z reply.
Do you think this may be a bug/glitch in their own system ? Im really sure that if my server is with problem this will effect not only my A-z account but PayPal acc, TransferWise acc etc. But there is no other issues. Everything seems ok.

Have you recently clicked on a link in an email from Amazon? There are many convincing bogus emails going round, with links to copy seller central sites, which record your details, including password, when you try to log in to the spoof site. They will use these to try to get access to your genuine Amazon account. If you have 2FA enabled, it’s unlikely (but perhaps not impossible) that they will get any further, but may trigger the email from Amazon. It may be that the above email is also a bogus one. Can you log in to your account by typing the URL directly into your browser, https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk. Change your security again and check there are no changes to the bank account or any additional products, also any additional users on your account.
Never click on links in emails, you can never be too careful.

Maybe you clicked on a link that wasn’t really amazon, maybe it looked like amazon you should go to amazon.co.uk direct and update everything, and also update your passwords and do a virus scan on your pc just to be safe.

Thank you for your reply !
No, I did not received any fishing emails at all.
Last emails from amazon are also visible in my A-z account.
My step 2 ver. was turned off before their very first email and than I turned it on.
It’s working now.
OK, lets say someone took my first email. Im creating brand new email. Changing all my server passwords. And few hours later - same email from Amazon.
WHen I log in again my account is INACTIVE and I need to fill all banking details again.
There are no attempt adding/deleting new products or trying to withdraw my money.
I hope that they can give me more detailed information what to do from here. Its not ok blocking my account 2/3 times per day. To be honest, im worried at this point
