Ungate North Face and Rapala
I"ve been trying to ungate North Face and Rapala. I have so many products to list. I used invoice from Rapala and Scheels but i kept getting denied. All my requirements are met but somehow Amazon always finding a reason to reject it. Let me remind you again my invoice is straight from manufacturer itself. I do believe this is a case of lottery or selective approval. Also as we all know, Amazon support does little to no things. Maybe Amazon went as far as our background and uses race, income, or criminal records to determine our eligibility. Does anyone feel the same way?

You will need written permission from the brand to sell on Amazon.
If you bought from the North Face or Rapala website, that is not acceptable sourcing.

Not at all. You just have to provide two elements and you will be allowed to sell these brands on Amazon:
1. A "Letter of Authorization" from the brand allowing you to sell their brand on Amazon.
2. INVOICE (not receipt) from an authorized distributor. An invoice is a document with your name and address, exactly how you registered it in your seller account under "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". And an authorized distributor is a company authorized by the brand owner. If you buy on the WEBSITE of a brand, you get a receipt and not an invoice.
Just write a kind email to the brand owners asking for a "Letter of Authorization" for Amazon (the word "Amazon" has to show up in this LOA) and a list of their authorized distributors.

Simple question; when you purchased from these places, did you first have to provide them with your business license and tax license info? Did you pay any sales tax on the purchase (as seen on your receipt)?
If the answer to the first question is "no", or the last question is "yes", then you 100% for certain made a RETAIL purchase. That means that you have a RECEIPT, not an INVOICE.
Amazon required an invoice; and for many brands (I would suspect North Face to be one of them), you'll also need written authorization FROM THE BRAND to sell their products on Amazon.

Hello @Seller_9DXtZcav3k4qj,
Thanks for reaching out. I see that your fellow sellers have given you some great information, and unfortunately buying from other retail stores does not qualify as an invoice. You need be be purchasing directly from the brand (not their website, but through a business relationship) or from an authorized distributor for the brand, and have a letter of authorization. You may find this post helpful as well, as it provides some information on how to help improve your chances of approval. If you have a relationship directly with the brand, ask them to add you to their Brand Registry, which will allow you to sell their items.
I hope this is helpful and please let me know if you have additional questions.
Regards,
Michelle
