Read onlyHi,
The returns request was simply the customer has changed their mind, so the item is not defective.
They weren't offered a pre-paid returns label during the returns authorisation.
They are now expecting us to pay for the return - it is expensive as it is a large item (£30 returns cost)
I realize it is free returns for FBA but FBM with buyer remorse/change of mind???
Thank you,
Steven
I take it that it is a parasol?
Related to the negative seller feedback?
I can't see that it states free returns on any of your listings so not sure where you are seeing it. If its a change of mind, then yes, the buyer would normally be liable for returns for the items you are selling.
One thing to be aware of is a change of policy on Heavy and Large items from August 30th though amazon have yet to clarify on this policy if we as sellers are liable for the cost of collections of heavy and large lines.
After reading through the help section you should automatically be enrolled in prepaid returns however if the item is "heavy and bulky in any given product category" then the item is ineligible for prepaid returns.
There are also a few other terms which may fall under the item you are selling such as Hazardous;Ineligible items for prepaid returns
Also there is a size and weight limit for returns;
Shipping costs for seller-fulfilled returns
If the buyer wants to change their mind, I believe the label cost can be deducted from their refund once you receive the item back.
Hey there @Seller_Z1VmZ3fbCMGeu,
Has the great posts you received in this thread helped?
