Refund Issued After Return Window - FBM
I thought a customer needed to return an item within 30 days after receiving the item to be eligible for a refund? This customer retained the item for 40+ days and then returned the item. Amazon gave them a full refund. Am I missing something?

It's 30 days after the delivery estimate, so if you delivered early it can be over 30 days that they have.

In addition to what @Seller_DdmPiA1p1S2Wu has noted (but a little added twist), the 'buyer' has 30 days from receipt to OPEN the return request and then has an additional 30 days (theoretically) to return it.
Did they open the return request within the 30 days window?
AND, when I say 'theoretically' it's because Amazon will always be 'flexible' for the benefit of the buyer and policies be da#$#$ if it screws the sellers.

Hello @Seller_vtC8KIOi2THZx!
My name is JiAlex from the Community Manager team here on forums. I wanted to follow up on your post. In regard to your inquiry, if you can confirm the return claim and the refund was more of 30 days from the moment of delivery, you could take a look on the following link and check the Safe-T Claims information and confirm if applies to you.
Any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out our support channel.
