Wrong Item sent to Customers
A customer have placed a complaint regarding my store saying that we have shipped a wrong item but I ship via FBA. Amazon have put a hold on my funds due to customer product complaint. I tried asking amazon for a bin check but they are not doing it. Can someone please help ?

Do a removal order on one unit and see what you get back.

Hello @Seller_mqszqnFFtrqXP
The only way you will know for certain what is in FBA is to initiate a removal order.
Also, if the buyer left negative feedback about getting the wrong product in their order, you can contact Amazon and ask to have that feedback struck through because you did not make the outbound shipment.

Call them to request a bin check. Normal messages don't always get the point across. The key is to get an agent on the phone.

if Amazon miscounted incoming inventory, and especially if you sent a mixed box in with similar looking product, Amazon will often relabel your inventory (free of charge no less) to match their errors! This is someone covering their A because if the error were truly yours, Amazon would NOT be so generous as to relabel your inventory for FREE.
I.e., I used to send in products in the same box that were identical except for maybe color. So if I send in 50 green widgets and 50 red widgets, and they all look alike because of similar packaging, I have had Amazon receive 100 red widgets and tell me the 50 green widgets were never sent in, despite having labelled them all correctly. The ONLY explanation is that they are not in fact scanning all items...they are cutting corners and the mistakes made end up being ours to fix.
Soon enough I have customers ordering green widgets but getting red ones...Amazon tells me they don't relabel. I recall inventory and find my inventory has been relabelled.
Have you had any significant miscounts in your FBA shipments?

We just got a complaint from a customer that FBA sent them a lipstick which we don't sell instead of a candle they ordered. Don't know how this happened and how it affects our inventory performance.

If there are other sellers on the same lissting, and the FBA inventory is "comingled inventory", then Amazon doesn't track which units were sent in by which sellers. Your order could be filled by items incorrectly sent in by other sellers, and it ends up costing YOU money.
This is one of the many reasons we stopped using FBA.
