Shipping insurance
HI,
Can anyone clarify FBM shipping insurance for me? In my “buy delivery preferences” I have selected “purchase delivery labels with declared value equalling the value of the item in the package”.
However when I come to buy shipping, I get an amber warning with the general message saying “the carrier does not provide the insurance for the value of your package” or words to that effect.
What does this mean and how can I increase my insurance on a per consignment basis.

I sometimes get that popping up, and I usually ignore it ! - as I choose the shipping method that covers the value of the item I am sending - standard RM for items value under £20, and either ‘signed for’ or other courier for up to £50. Anything over that I use courier where you can increase the insurance value accordingly.
