Missing Units in FBA - please get in touch here
Dear Fellow Seller,
Last year Amazon absorbed around 250 units from one of my shipment. I fought for nearly six months but didn’t get anywhere. Finally, I contacted the MD team and received a very arrogant reply from them and the case was shut. I was way too frustrated, and I didn’t know what to do. So, I left it to go with a loss of 6k.
A similar thing happened this Jan where we delivered four pallets worth of goods and Amazon has lost 3 and a half pallets. This time they shut case again because the POD didn’t have all corresponding Shipment IDs in BOL number. This time I had enough and sought help from a friend.
As a result, I am in touch with a national TV and preparing a story on how Amazon treats FBA sellers and doesn’t provide adequate compensation to the sellers.
If you had similar incidents in the past, please add the link of your thread or share your story here. I will collate it together to prepare a compelling story.
Many Thanks

This forum is littered with tales of FBA warehouse issues. The problem must be beyond anything we can imagine.
Good luck with your cause.

We also experience the missing units in Amazon warehouse BHX1.
We are a new amazon vendors in UK. We were invited to become amazon vendors in the autumn 2018, however sad to say it has not been a smooth ride.
Out of our first 7 deliveries only (1) had been correctly updated, the rest showed up as outstanding. Now 4 out of 7 parcels has been correctly updated. However we have 3 pacels left that Amazon has not yet zero the outstanding. Today we have an email asking us to cancel one of the POs. We CANNOT cancel the PO as the item has been already delivered with tracking code. What a daylight robbery!

This is happening with almost every shipment one or 2 items missing and yet everything is double checked by 2 bmembers of staff

OMG, this is now happening on all my shipments. I recently sent 14 units and they received 3 only, they are stealing my inventory and saying that they have investigated 3 times and they can confirm the units were not received. this is totally incorrect.
Latest issue was BHX4 warehouse, I am going to avoid this warehouse now since this is the second shipment which has gone completely missing

I have the same issue, missing items from several shipments. I have provided photographic evidence of how the box was packed (with the missing item in shot) but I am told that an audit has been completed and the items are missing.
I don’t know what to do here really. I like selling on amazon but my margins are too fine for 1-3 items to go missing every time I send a box in.
Any ideas greatly received.

BHX4 have done it again, 3 items gone and research says they cannot confirm if these were sent. This is really unprofessional and I am now losing money since the Amazon selling charges are just too much and on top things are going missing for no reasons!!

Every time I’ve raised a complaint they have said because of a weight discrepancy they won’t compensate even though I have photographic proof of the weight of each parcel sent, sadly I shan’t be send any more items down to EUKD. 277 items missing in total from 4 boxes.

We have just experienced complete loss of stock sent to LTN1 - 462units with a value of around £3 500. On query with the FBA Team our claim loss was declined due to weight discrepancy. Amazon advised they were expecting 12-13kg and our declared weight with UPS was 1.5kg, so more than 80% discrepancy. Considering we sell body jewellery and the weight per item is 2-3 grams if that - just laughable.
We generally work on a 10% or less for shrinkage per delivery to Amazon FC. We have been selling on Amazon for 9 years and have been FBA for 5 of those and have never experienced the above. Even when we have shipped our units the US FBA.
