A return and replacement scam
We got a return request from a customer saying that they received an item in a damaged condition. As per the system they were authorized and a return label generated for return on 10/17
On 10/18 the customer asked for a replacement for the item(same order) . The system allowed the replacement order and we did send the replacement
All transactions have been done using the labels generated through Amazon
On 10/18 the customer scanned the return label and an automatic refund was given.
Now the customer has the refund for the item, the replacement for the item and
How should we proceed.? Any suggestions

I would keep an eye on the tracking to see if the damaged item is coming back to you since it sounds like it was a refund at first scan return. If you don't get it back, you should be able to open a SAFE-T claim for the replacement order.
