PRIME trial period

how long does it usually take to get the PRIME badge?
we have now been in the ‘trial’ period for weeks and shipped 100’s with all GREEN lights!
the trial page states:
You must meet the following performance requirements on a minimum of 25 consecutive orders to qualify for the Prime badge
Just seems to be going on and on!

Are you shipping 6 days a week?

Ah it’s this section in the help page that maybe causing the issues - it says the customer will be shown the next day delivery - but not the seller it seems ?!

Weekend Pickups

Sellers enrolled in SFP in the UK are also required to operate and send out Prime products six days per week, Monday to Friday plus either Saturday or Sunday. If you choose to operate on Saturdays, customer page views occurring on Friday after cut-off time or Saturday before cut-off time will be expected to be sent on Saturday. If you choose to operate on Sundays, customer page views occurring Friday after cut-off time through Sunday before cut-off time will be expected to be sent on Sunday.

Yes - if in Shipment Settings you had not chosen if you were shipping on the Saturday or Sunday then as far as Amazon are concerned you were not fulfilling the T&Cs of having Prime - even if you had no shipments that needed to be sent at weekend, you still must choose a day when you will ship.

Try amending the settings to show you send on a Saturday then see what happens.

But, and I have said this before, dont sweat over the Prime badge.

I removed Prime and instead reduced my prices on the items by the difference between sending RM48 and RM Tracked24 and guess what - no difference in sales. I give customers the option to upgrade to Tracked24 instead - and only about 2% choose to do so. As people start tightening their belts further I think price will win over delivery speed. So now I have my weekends back. I may change it again during busy periods like Xmas but will test on a per product basis.

UPDATE: I have just visited a depot some 12-15 miles away and they have a lorry leave at 1.55pm on Saturday, therefore I can set the Saturday time to the minimum and that gives enough time to pack it and get there with time to spare.
Hopefully it’s now resolved.
(I did ask them about the Royal Mail prime cut offs for Sunday (with delivery on Monday) and he think’s that is almost never going to happen anywhere!
