Need Help: Brand Registry Application Rejected due to Business Verification Case 17834869191

Hello,

I applied for my brand registry and got rejected because Amazon was unable to verify "the registered business name and business identifier (for example: tax ID number or business ID number) provided at the time of submitting the appeal form". The Seller Central Account is under my name since Amazon considers single member LLC as Individual for tax classification and so is the Tax ID number / SSN. However, my trademark is under my LLC and therefore while submitting my brand registry application I submitted LLC's EIN as tax ID number and got rejected.

I submitted an appeal and this time provided, business ID number from the LLC formation document and still got rejected.

Third time, I submitted Business Formation Certificate that clearly shows me as the owner for the LLC, IRS EIN document as well as Individual (myself) SSN/ tax ID information to connect all the dots but still got rejected.

Business ID, Tax ID, EIN everything has been submitted but still rejected. At this point, I'm not sure what is actually needed. With every rejection letter, there is the standard response and nothing specific as to what they are looking for in terms of business verification.

My case ID 17834869191. Can someone please help ?

Dougal_Amazon

Hello @Seller_YEbdFMojgoSNZ,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can assist. Thank you for including the case ID and after review I can see that you provided all the appropriate documentation and requested information and I also see this aligns with the TM owner according to the USPTO website.

I have created an internal escalation to raise these specific points to the relevant team to review.

I will provide an update here as soon as I hear back.

best, Dougal
