Selling FBA how many refunds is acceptable?
We sell most of our products via FBA. We get anywhere between 100-170 orders a day most days. We have noticed that Amazon dish out refunds like sweets in a sweet shop, and often it will be multiple refunds in a single day.
Today for example, Amazon have issued 10 refunds out of our pockets. We used to get reasons but not just get told to check ‘voice of the customer’ which rarely shows anything useful.
Just curious what percentage of refunds do you guys and gals experience.

There’s your reasons - although theyre generally not helpful either lol
I’ve had 25 refunds in 30 days and a similar number of daily orders to you

We always request for our returns to be sent back to us if the item is £10 or over. I have lost count of how many items we have had back with reason damaged. Of course, when we check, the only damage to the item is caused by the Amazon sticky label that won’t peel off without damaging the packaging.

I suppose it depends on the product - would you get that sort of rate of returns if they were fbm ?
Obviously items like clothing have high returns rate whereas products that are more straightforward such as an a4 lined notepad wouldn’t really be something many people would return.
We’ve had very few returns with our fba items however, we get even less returns (out of many more) fbm orders because i believe prime are free returns ?! Whereas most of our fbm returns are change of mind so I won’t issue a prepaid return label.
Our items are that cheap i think most people can’t be bothered to return them

Just in case, those fulfilment reports that Sequin posted are far more informative if you actually download them. It then gives whatever the customer has written on the return itself.
The interactive version, is pretty much a waste of time.
