High Days of Supply is ruining sales
For example, I have an item selling 17 units in a week, currently just 6 units left in stock, and when I go to ship just 12 more units, the site says: "You have high days of supply for this SKU in our fulfillment centers. Remove this SKU from the shipment. For more information, go to Managing FBA product level shipment restrictions. Consider alternative low cost warehousing and storage solutions such as Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (AWD), subject to available capacity."
If an item sells 17 units in a week, and only 6 units left in inventory, and it takes three days to reach the FC, how could this item have "high days of supply"?
There seems to be a huge error here.

I am having the same issue. Many of my items are selling out because Amazon is stating that I have "high days of supply for this SKU". It is my guess that Amazon is trying to force sellers to use the AWD warehouses.

Same with us but we are selling 100s and are jsut trying to send in a 30 day supply when only a week is left of inventory. I wish Amazon woudl fix thsi stuff or at least the people doing this understood what they are doing. You should be allowed to at least send in 45 days or even 90 days of supply to FBA at all times. UGH!!! Work so hard to only have to fight fight fight with the system

Same thing here. I have zero inventory, 4 orders waiting for inventory. How Can I have negative inventory and "high days of Supply" started a case today and was told to wait until the 18th for some reason.
Last time I got this as a result from support:
We have reviewed your account and confirmed that the restriction has been set to "Unlimited." This means the seller can now create shipments for the ASINs listed in the overview without any limitations. Also, please delete any existing Shipments containing this ASIN and create a new shipment.
