Missing Matching Tracking IDs for Multiple Variation Box Shipments
Hi All,
I'm having an issue with uploading my tracking ID # info to my shipping plan. My supplier just shipped 34 boxes to Amazon via UPS. They provided me with the tracking # for each warehouse shipment (3 warehouses total), but did not provide the tracking for each box. I got the tracking #s for each box from UPS, but my shipment boxes are not all the same:
- 34 boxes total
- 17 boxes are for a specific color
- 17 boxes are for a different color
- Additionally, 2/34 boxes have a different unit quantity (32 boxes have 30 units // 2 boxes have 20 units)
Unfortunately my supplier did not record the FBA box #/tracking # info as I requested. The shipments are all in transit, so the info is now unattainable.
So, I can add the individual tracking ID #s, but I don't know which ID # is associated to which box qty/variation.
Any idea what to do here? Should I just add tracking IDs and hope they're correct? Does it matter if the individual box tracking #s are mismatched (but the shipment timing, warehouse, etc. associated to the tracking is OK)? Thanks in advance for your help.
@Dominic_Amazon, heard you might be of help here; thank you.

Hey @Seller_RWDyC9WYxgaum, there is some helpful information in another thread, UPS - Tracking IDs, similar to yours. Tracking information will speed up the receiving process and assist if there are any issues, however, if they are not the correct tracking numbers for each box, it may confuse matters. Do you know the weight of each box and have that information by tracking ID?
