5+ year old listing deactivated for no-good reason
I sell a personalised label ASIN B01AUPIPI8 for well over 5 years, recently 24/09/2024 it was suddenly made inactive. Looked into the issue and the reason given –
"Request selling approval for policy compliance"
Product requires approval to sell.
You need approval to sell: Beer & Wine category in New condition(s)
Have contacted Amazon and asked them to reinstate it (it's a personalised label not alcohol) or move to another category of their choice. After several messages their response is thus –

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
We understand your request is to reinstate the ASIN: B01AUPIPI8, and previously we stated that the listing is a wine bottle but, considering your statement that it is a personalized label not a wine bottle.
In this regard, as we can check your account does not currently meet the criteria required to list these products due to account metrics, distribution pathways of the brand, or other factors.
If your account becomes eligible to sell this product, you will see "Apply to sell" next to the product in the "Add products" feature in Seller Central.
To maintain a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, certain products cannot be listed or sold on Amazon or may be subject to additional requirements because of supply chain authenticity risks.

Your issue won't be helped by teh fact your primary image shows a wine bottle. Its a bot picking it up - but even a human taking a glance at that might think they are actually getting a bottle of wine.
Though it appears that is exactly how all other sellers list these kinds of products - you are just unlucky to have been hit by the bots.
You seem to be in the same browse node as similar lines (Wine Labels) but the UNSPSC code for your item is Alcoholic Beverages....not sure what the answer is unfortunately.

This often happens to us when Amazons' bot changes the GL Category on the listing. Support will offer no assistance in correcting this unless you can tell them the correct GL Category to change to and provide evidence as to why it is correct vs the current.
Support will often give away the current GL Category of an item, which is half the battle really. But finding the GL Category that it should be in, so you can tell support to move it there, can be a bit of a task as they don't tend to be freely available to look through.
For example, we sell art supplies and some of the our images have paintings using our items. Amazon's clearly flawed bot changes the GL category to gl_art which is for actual works of art (for which we are not authorised for) and not art supplies (which is gl_art_craft_supplies), so we end up with the message you are getting. When Amazon support finally corrects it, everything goes back to normal.

Ironic.... If I was a third party seller of your product, Amazon would bat me back to you to resolve as I would not be the brand owner, but it seems even brand owners cant fix simple problems either.
