Why is Amazon so difficult to teach and explain by example?

I have been selling on Amazon for some time and I have had a very bad experience but the thing is I learned a lot but I always stumble upon 3 things

1. Why is finding a brand approval so difficult, and tiring and troublesome? Why is this like the most difficult thing on this planet? Why cnt there be a community that can show sellers how this is done by example instead of charging people a package fee to do this for you?

2. Letter of authorization is the most difficult thing to achieve becuase why would a brand want to work with a seller who is too small or not credible enough to handle the world load? They dnt need small businesses and individuals like myself.

3. Why does Amazon always have a shortened computerized response to everything. Why cnt there be an example given when someone ask a specific question and it’s always the same old response like stuff we haven’t already heard before. We need example not a guidelines of things to do and not do.

We want to pay we want to learn and we want to grow but all the Amazon community / leaders on this platform always say some smart punk response that cnt do anything but put us down!

This is getting very tiring for individuals like myself who want to learn the right way.

This all seems like a scam and giving Amazon bad reputation.

Because the market is saturated. Many brands see too many sellers already selling their products; they not only don't want more, they don't want most of the ones already doing it. So brands are starting to take control, and not allow random people to represent their products. Amazon gets about 2000 new sellers PER DAY. You can do the math...

Because there are a lot of people who got kicked off Amazon, and find the best way to make money is to give questionable advice to others, hoping that enough survive long enough to give them a recommendation. Successful sellers don't want to share their secrets, and few are willing to give much time for free to help with the basics. However, if you search for a forum where Sellers ask Sellers, you might be able to find some good advice that goes beyond the advice you can get here; but don't expect any hand-holding.

I assume that you have gone through Seller-U?

If there is a question here, I think you just gave the answer.

Because there are possibly a million people a day asking the same questions as you; using bots is cost effective. Remember, Amazon is here to create value to the shareholders; not for the sellers.

Amazon is not going to provide exact examples, because that would help the black-hat actors to violate the rules.

Hello @Seller_Xn5Plz1a5CIaa,

Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear you are frustrated, buy you may find this post helpful. While I understand that this may be frustrating for you, Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. While you may have been approved in the past, as the Amazon catalog grows, we continuously make new determinations on which products should be restricted, which is based on a number of factors. Amazon does this to ensure authenticity and customer satisfaction. If you have a relationship directly with the brand you are trying to sell, ask them to add you to their Brand Registry as this will allow you to sell their products.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

I hope this is helpful,

Michelle
