Selling on Amazon USA, transferral of Listings?

Hi Guys, wondering if anyone can help; I’m an established UK seller with a few good selling listings and have just signed up to sell in the USA. Is there any reason why not all of my UK listings have been transferred to USA, also some of the listing that did transfer to USA have an incorrect brand name…Amazon support has not been helpful, wondering if any1 else has had this issue and how you rectify it, Thanks!!

If you are using the international listings building tool, its normal that some of the listings don’t transfer over- you need to add these manually yourself, either one by one or using an upload file.

As for the brand name, unfortunately this happened to us to- basically some other seller has likely hijacked the brand on your listing. This can happen if you did not have brand registry in the US when you made your listings in the UK. Any other seller can add your ASINs in another marketplace, and if you don’t have brand registry there, they are given editing control of the listing and can change the brand name.

Even after getting brand registry in the US we were unable to solve the brand hijacking of some of our ASINs and had to create new listings instead- after trying for months to get seller support to sort it out. As usual like it was like talking to a brick wall- they just give you a generic response about you not being the brand owner and therefore you cannot edit the listing- whether you should clearly be the brand owner is apparently irrelevant!!

Possibly some of your products are not allowed to be sold in the US - for copyright/trademark/legal/compliance reasons. In other words, they may be UK/EU versions and there are separate US ones

Hi CEP 20001, I think there is an issue of copyright/trademark etc. How have you opened USA Seller account? Can you guide me? Either have you opened a new USA Seller account?
