I linked my Royal Mail OBA account last night and the options have appeared this morning…

It was just mentioned in the webinar that CRL purchased through Buy Shipping would be considered 100% VTR.

This is great news for us as we use a software shipping solution that has a Buy Shipping API integration. The only question I have now is that apparently to link your RM account to Amazon you need to have Tracked Services enabled on your account but we don’t use them. What do we do I wonder? Seems pointless to have to have a service you don’t actually use.

Does anyone know what CRL stands for? What’s the difference between CRL and LBT?

CRL is when you have a number of parcels and you average out the size and weights rather then enter them all individually.

LBT is letterbox postable

I have tried to buy shipping for the first time but RM48 is not available. Is this because I have not linked my account?

If I use buy shipping does my spend still count towards the threshold for a free collection by Royal Mail?

Thanks

I am going to try calling them. Hopefully they will answer the phone this time.

Currently I use the 6 x 4 labels through Click and drop. When buying through Amazon do they print off in the same way?

so my Royal Mail account is already linked to my amazon from when we used to do SFP

I use code CRL in click and drop and for a large letter under 100g I pay 98p when its less than 250 items a day and 96p for more than 250 items a day

I have done a mock purchase of buy shipping through amazon and for the same size and weight it wants to charge me 88p plus tax plus surcharge which is £1.04

why are my prices more expensive on amazon ?

Ive only just got use to C&D.

So i buy postage and print using amazon, which will show on C&D if linked. then i do as usual for ebay on C&D. Then i create manifest.

So I print the labels from Amazon having populated all the info. I can select the format, so I would select 6 x4.

How do I run a manifest for the postman? Do the orders appear in Click and drop? I will have to use click and drop for my non Amazon orders.

I am a bit confused. Will my manifest only show the non Amazon orders?

Do I have to do something in OBA because I can’t access that currently.
