Undeliverable Shipping Address
Hi All,
Customer insists they provided a complete delivery address for the small order that was not delivered. Upon investigation the customer provided the following address: Doncaster, England, DN11 + 3 digits.
No Street Name and no house number. Having looked at the Postcode supplied there are over 50 Houses in the post code supplied. So the poor old postie has no chance…
To the best of my knowledge the customer is responsible for this and not us ?
Can anyone please confirm if I am correct…
As always thank you for your support…

When is the order from?
did you only check the address on Amazon? Because they hide all the details after a short period of time (I think it might be 2 months?), so the customer may have supplied the correct information at the time, however Amazon have now redacted it all.
If the customer has not received the order, and you can’t prove they did with tracking, then the customer will win an a-z if it goes that far.
While the customer is responsible for giving the correct address, distance selling regulations/consumer law or whatever they are calling themselves these days state that the contract is not made with the customer until they receive the goods and accept them. As they never received them then the contract wasn’t made and the customer should be refunded.
