Denial of Receipt Form

Does anyone know if I can ask a customer to complete a Denial of Receipt Form? in cases where we have proof of delivery - but know they are likely to open an A-Z if we don't refund them immediately - you know the type...

We use them on our own website and find them very effective in separating truthful cases and the lesser so.

I have used them on eBay but not on Amazon, because even if it's allowed it might push the buyers to open an A-Z. What I do now when the item says delivered is ask them to double check and confirm it hasn't been collected by someone else before I refund them. I then add that given the fact that they misled us with the wrong status, I will complain to RM/courier and they might investigate. Most of the times they don't come back. If they come back I refund them as promised.

If there is proof of delivery I always send them a link to the proof from RM or whichever carrier used, and state that if they are claiming they have not received the item that I will ask the carrier to investigate. They usually never come back as realise they've been rumbled !
