Hello, Your account has been suspended from selling on Amazon.de marketplace, using FBA services in Germany (including Pan-EU and CEE FBA programs) and from shipping orders to German based customers. Why did this happen? We have taken this measure because your German VAT identification number was not uploaded or verified by the deadline or you failed to provide evidence that you opted into Union One-Stop Shop (OSS) together with the VRN used for reporting OSS. Under German VAT legislation, online marketplaces must collect a German VAT identification number from selling partners who are required to be tax registered in Germany. A VAT number is valid when business name and Tax address are accurate and matching between the information entered in Seller Central and data stored in German Federal Tax Authority’s database. For more information and recommended actions, please review the help page (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/7GB7EHQJL2WRMLW ). If you do not store inventory in Germany you can alternatively meet your German tax obligations by opting into OSS. You will need to provide evidence that you report your EU Business-to-Consumer cross border sales to Germany through One-Stop Shop and mark the VAT identification number in Seller Central used for OSS. An overview of all EU27 Member state OSS portals and contact details for each country can be found here. How do I reactivate my account? If you are required to be tax registered in Germany, upload your German VAT identification number here. If there is mismatch in business name or address of your VAT number, please either contact German tax authority to provide the updated information or update your account information in Seller Central. If you do not store inventory in Germany you can report your EU Business-to-Consumer cross border sales to Germany through OSS and mark the VAT identification number in Seller Central used for OSS here: https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/tax/consolidatedRegistrations?ref_=macs_xxtaxpoe_cont_acinfohm If you want to ship any open orders or remove any FBA inventory from our fulfilment centers in Germany, please create a removal order using a removal order file (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/gp/help/G200721270). Learn more about the VAT obligations in Germany and Union One-Stop Shop. Has this message been sent in error? If you believe this happened in error or you believe your business may be eligible for exemption from DE VAT registration, please contact us here: https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/help/hub/support We’re here to help. If you have questions about this policy or the information requested above, please reference the relevant German Tax Authority. Additionally, you can also contact a tax advisor to help you with your VAT registration and filing requirements. You can view your account performance at https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/performance/notifications or select Account Health on the home screen of the Amazon Seller app on your iOS or Android device. The Account Health page shows how well your account is performing against the performance metrics and policies required to sell on Amazon. Sincerely, Amazon Services Europe S.a.r.l.
IS THE SECONT TIME I SENT THIS MESSAGE...
I didn't have any item in FBA in Germany.
Please help
Hey There San_Siro_Sports_And
Based on my observations from your post, I want to provide you with a sense of direction moving forward.
Amazon enforces VAT compliance rules under the EU E-Commerce VAT regulations and Germany’s VAT laws.
You must have a German VAT number if you:
-- Store inventory in Germany (e.g., using FBA in a German fulfillment center).
-- Exceed the EU-wide VAT threshold of €10,000 in cross-border sales to German customers.
-- Sell from a non-EU country (like the UK or the US) and have German customers.
I would advise you to check your Pan-EU and CEE FBA settings in Seller Central.
One more possibility would be if an order return was received by a fulfilment center, this can trigger a VAT registration requirement.
Thank you for your post. I hope my response is beneficial towards your business.
