Editing Product Detail Page of a Suppressed Listings
Hey all,
We are struggling with this issue since last year for both UK and US market and we would appreciate any help, experience or solution.
We had a listing suppressed/suspended because of inappropriate content under the Restricted Product Policy. Our products are not restricted in general and we have permissions to sell them but due to a bad word in the listing PDP one of our listings got suppressed.
We are trying to edit it from Seller Central and also via template in order to remove the “bad” wording in the description and Appeal the suppression, but changes just won’t go through whatever we do. They are reflecting in the input fields in Seller Central but they don’t go to the live part.
We tried to contact Seller Support about the issue and request the changes at Amazon’s end but we are getting the same answer “Please remove the content…, etc” but we technically can’t whatever we do. We had a similar situation on the US market but somehow with the stroke of luck we were able to reach a support agent that was kind enough to somehow push to changes to the live page and then we were able to Appeal and Reinstate the listing, but on the UK market we practically can’t do anything
Thanks in advance for your response. Any advise is highly appreciated

Hello @ApparelBoyz,
I understand that your listing has been removed for restricted products violation and you are trying to edit the information about listing.
Please refer to the help page and follow the steps to edit your listing information.
Edit Listing
You will have an appeal button beside the product violation in your account health dashboard from where you can appeal.
If you are not able to edit the information after following the required steps as well then I would encourage you to delete the listing and relist it with correct information.
After relisting you can appeal on the violation addressing how you resolved the issue.
Please check the policy page for better understanding!

We had this a few times. When you get an actual IP complaint, the notification tells you to FIRST delete your product, then send in your appeal.
We did this and opened a SS case. We were then told we had to edit a word that was in the title (remove it), obviously we couldn’t as the initial instruction is to DELETE the asin.
Ar*e and elbow spring to mind. And something about a brewery.
