Parent ASIN issue over and over again

Hello :)

I have set up a number of parent and child ASINS over past year or so but the latest one I have tried to create is failing every time. I have created the child ASINs and a parent one ready to link but when I go into variations on the parent ASIN, it automatically puts the parent ASIN in as the first variation. I use the 'style' option to differentiate my products and I have double checked that there is nothing in this field on the product page of the parent ASIN. Also, once I've gone into the variations tab on the parent ASIN, it automatically creates red alerts on the 'offer' tab as my price has now disappeared, and the parent SKU field is now empty as well as the title on the Product information page. Seems very glitchy and I haven't had these problems before.

I've been on to Amazon help so many times over the past couple of weeks and we have got literally nowhere. Can anyone give me any suggestions please?

Hi @Seller_tvnPizJQY9X7B,

This is a common issue with Amazon's variation family. First, ensure the parent has NO price, NO inventory, and NO style value.

You can check this by downloading your inventory file to see if there are any hidden values or offer details accidentally linked to the parent.

The red alerts should resolve automatically once the variation relationship is set up correctly. Have you reached out to Seller Support for help?

Thanks, Ezra
