A couple of questions related to listing a product

I'm new to the platform and have a couple of questions related to listing a product.
I want to start selling greeting cards however i'm a little confused in what the Target Audience field should be.
Say for example the product was a birthday card that had the design saying "Happy Birthday Husband" would the target audience field be the recipient of the card "Husband" or would it be "Wife" as the wife would be the one browsing Amazon for the card? The tooltips says "Specify the target audience that the product is intended for". Does this mean the recipient or the one who will purchase?
When copying a listing to a new listing the "Generic Keyword" field doesn't appear, only when you submit the product this field appears in the edit listing section. I'm assuming this plays and significant role in SEO and should be field in?

I would say for greetings cards (and doing a search for greetings cards would show what most sellers do) then the target audience for your example card is either Men or Husband

The "Target Audience" field typically indicates the intended recipient of the product.
As mentioned by @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh, for a greeting card, it refers to the person receiving the card.
Concerning your question about the Keywords, could you please provide more details?
