How to increase prices without losing buy box
We manufacture our own products and are now at a stage where our prices need to be increased some by as much as 30%. This is due to us swallowing any increases in the past. I know about the buy box and if you increase it too much you lose the buy box which is happening to us even though we are the only ones selling our own products. Surely, it is reasonable and logical to be able to increase prices if costs have gone up? It looks like Amazon are looking at the history of the price and making a decision, but this is based on out of date information and costs which it does not know since the system is automated.
I would like to know if it is possible to make smaller increments over a period of a few months would this be a workaround or would Amazon still see the price as “not competive” or “Too high” based on price history before the price was hiked?
I know there are expensive repricers out there but my issue is how can i bulk increase prices without losing buy box which i know will lose me sales.
This thought process especially in these times of rising costs is simply not logical! I can understand Amazon wanted to protect people hiking prices of masks and gel during the pandemic, however, one should be able to increase prices epecially when parts of the product are a commodity and have a market price!
I am sure this has been raised before but welcome comments and any advice.
Thank you

You literally have to just keep tweaking it, I don’t think there’s a set figure tbh
