Fraudulent A to Z claim from dropshipper
Hi,
I have been dealing with a customer looking for a refund for an item they say has not arrived when Royal Mail tracking shows it was delivered. They only raised the concern 30 days after the item was due to be delivered and have just raised an A to Z claim that they just won despite me providing the above evidence.
The worst part is that when I googled the customer (given the address looked strange) it is associated with a known dropshipper who has numerous reviews across a number of sources for fraudulently claiming items are lost or not as described. To make matters even worse I can see the item that I sent to them on their website available to buy (so I can only assume they got a return and that is why that claimed it went missing).
With all of this information I am still unable to win an A to Z claim - what chance do we have of stopping fraudulent behaviour on the platform in this persists and Amazon very quickly grant refunds on expensive items.

Hi @Seller_JZhA4tZwe6yMk,
I checked with our partner team about this situation. Here's what they explained:
When there's no signature confirmation for delivery, the seller becomes financially responsible. This is because without proof of delivery (like a signature), we typically side with customers who say they haven't received their items. This policy helps ensure a positive customer experience.
You can read more About A-to-z Guarantee Claims.
I know this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but I hope this helps explain the situation.
Best regards, Ezra
