Read onlyI am writing to inquire if anyone else is having this problem and been able to find a fix?
First off, I fully understand the purpose of the account reserve, which ensures that sufficient funds are available for potential refunds, claims, or chargebacks. However, I would like to address a concern regarding the current percentage being withheld.
At the moment, approximately 35% to 40% of my total sales (NOT payout) are being carried over into the reserve, which significantly impacts my cash flow. In my six years of selling on Amazon, my account has never had more than 5% of such charges or disputes. Additionally, my Account Health is in good standing, and I have maintained a “green” status in all areas.
example
Total sells $52,000
FBA Fees $19,853.80
held in reserve $19.502.14
Payout $31,122.12
Given our strong account performance, I would like to understand what steps I can take to reduce this reserve percentage to a more manageable level. Is there any possibility for a review or adjustment of this percentage based on my account history?
Any insight or recommendations you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to any and all your responses.
Mahalo,
Jason
Hello @Seller_t9YdaIIHvEKQr- appreciate you looking to the forums for some discussion around the Account Level Reserve.
Account level reserve is placed on all accounts, regardless of their performance. The amount of the account level reserve is based on a number of factors, including your business, and your processing history. This page has some information on possible methods for getting payments faster from the reserve. If you believe there have been any errors with your reserve level, or would like to request any changes be made, you will need to connect with our seller support team.
I hope this helps, and thanks again for posting here on the forums.
Best,
Danny
