I have had my listing blocked for the reason of it being a class 2a medical device. My question is what documents do I need to submit on my appeal to have the ASIN reinstated as there are other sellers listing the exact same product for over 12 months and in regards to these amazon say no violation has been identified. My product is the same as theirs from the same brand and supplier. please help

If Amazon say this item is no allowed to be sold on their UK site then no documents will change that. I expect Amazon will soon catch up with the other sellers.

The issue is you are looking at what others are doing, but they have no affiliation with you. Only concentrate on your own listing, there can be thousands of other listings identical to yours, but unfortunately amazon is ONLY looking at yours, and nothing will change that when they do. You dont know what arrangements, documents, authorisations etc and set up other people have.

Your best bet is deep diving into your own product and trying to fix the issue they are identifying to you.

Without knowing the product... You mention its a medical device? Such would be strictly regulated and you will need to show relevant paperwork and authorisations in order to sell. Rightly so in a medical category.

It's interesting that you don't seem to be saying Amazon have made a mistake, just that others are doing the same thing.

I've taken a look at your item and it is indeed medical needles although like other sellers you are calling them something else (pen nibs), presumably so Amazon don't notice. You even say "this is not a medical device" in your listing.

As to why you've been caught and they haven't, it's hard to say. Plus it doesn't really matter since they're not allowed to be sold so clearly you won't be trying to list them again.

Incidentally, for future products, you cannot (should not) sell branded items as being generic.
