Do I need to by UPC Codes?

I have been in contact with my supplier and they tell me that my product has UPC codes on each box, however, they also say that they are not sure whether they can be used to sell on Amazon. Can I use these UPC codes or do I need to buy new ones in order to set up my listing?

UPC codes are acceptable to use on Amazon that are a variant of a GTIN/EAN code, but if the manufacturer is using generic UPC codes or UPC codes that are not correct for the Brand this will cause issues when listing the product. If you search the UPC Codes given they should display the actual exact same product you are selling.
