Royal mail missing returns

So Royal Mail return label provided by Amazon tracking states returned to seller.

We have not received the return.

There are no Gps coordinates of an image to prove delivery.

Royal mail are adamant they do not have to provide either.

Is anyone else having issues with royal mail returns?
