Submitting Letter of Authorisation but still 'unable to verify'
My seller account has been deactivated for some unknown reason. I was prompted to write a letter of authorisation, which I did to the best of my knowledge and submitted it a few days ago. I have now received a notification saying 'We were unable to verify some of your primary contact information' with bullet points of everything wrong with the letter... however all bullet points seem to be present in the letter so I am unsure why I am getting this message. See below a list of things amazon have said was wrong.
- The business name on the letter of authorization document does not match the business name entered in Seller Central.
- The letter of authorization uploaded is not signed by a legal representative
- The letter of authorization does not authorize the point of contact to manage and transact on behalf of the business.
- The letter of authorization document has expired. The document has to be dated within the last 180 days.
- The letter of authorization gives permission to the point of contact for a limited period only.
- Provide a letter of authorization without a time limit
- The name of the point of contact on the letter of authorization document does not match the name of the point of contact entered in Seller Central.
- The letter of authorization document is unclear or blurred.
Can someone please point out how the below letter is incomplete? My seller name and business match with the ones in the letter also.

It has been understood that you need help on the account reactivation which has been deactivated due to the additional documents verification.
The verification of your identity is required by law for the use of a payment account.
To complete the identity verification please click on the Account Info > Identity Information.
We request you to provide a HMRC document to confirm that the primary contact person registered in Seller Central is a legal representative of the business.
To proceed with your account verification, provide one of the following:
Business verification documents
-- One of the following documents issued by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) within the last year:

- Online VAT Certificate
- Self-Assessment notice to complete a tax return
- Letter confirming your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) number
- Self Assessment Statement
- Short Tax Return.

I regret we have suffered a similar fate, we had the full support of the brand owner in this case Jack Daniels confirming our product was genuine. Amazon simply did not want to know. My suggestion is move away from Amazon go to other platforms that do not interfere with IP rights, they know what they are doing. Eventually Amazon customer base will find your product or as in our case realize that Amazon opposition are selling at a more competitive price only then when it hits Amazon in their pocket will they correct this stupid system and come into line with everyone else
