How can I get full control over my listings?
How can I get actual control over my listings? We’ve got 1000+ listings that we want to update with our latest product information however any changes to title, bullet points, photos, tags and description don’t take effect.
Have tried using the manage inventory > edit listing page, and have tried via uploading inventory file, as we well as our vendor central account.
We’re already on the brand registry with a registered trademark but it doesn’t seem to have made a difference.
Is it actually possible to get unique control over listings? If one of our listings has 10 sellers on it, amazon algorithm pulls together some really random titles that in some cases describe the wrong product.
Help much appreciated, thanks.

The listing is actually Amazon’s not yours. If someone has the exact same product in everyway then they have to list it on that listing. This is very unlikely that anyone will because it’s your brand and you can do something about that if they do.
How to go about changing the listing I will leave for those experienced in those things. I would have thought though if you created the listing you would have been able to make alterations

I’ve always been able to change the listings that I have made via the normal edit listing on the inventory list.
Amazon doesn’t merge titles that I have ever seen, any listing I have joined, even if I have suggested a title improvement (because “birthday card” doesn’t really sell the item… or remove “free next day delivery” etc) the only way I have been able to get it changed is to go to seller support with photos of my product, the barcode, brand name etc and prove its the same item and I want to improve the title
I would assume with Brand Registry you would have had control, but I am not sure how that works

As mentioned above when listings are created prior to BR you cant then change the listing.
The other thing to note is if you were selling say a table mat as generic once you BR and TM the item to sell it on amazon the item cant no longer be sold on that generic listing if your selling it as branded as it will be different as the item would have different packing such as the brand name address etc printed on.
I presume they are all unbranded items any which are already branded you cant then change to your brand name
