Hello everyone,
I’ve been selling on Amazon for over 6 years without any issues, and this year we’ve run into problems with the KYC verification process. Specifically, we’re facing difficulties with address verification for one of the beneficial owners.
For months, we’ve submitted all the documents Amazon requested, just as we’ve done in the past, and they were always accepted right away. This time, however, Amazon is rejecting the address verification for one beneficial owner, even though all other documents for the company and the other beneficial owner were accepted without issue.
After repeatedly trying to resolve this, our account has now been deactivated. Seller Support keeps redirecting us to the verification email, but we’re only getting the same response with no detailed feedback or clear instructions.
This week, we finally received the official Residency Certificate from the government, complete with a stamp that proves the address of the beneficial owner. We submitted it right away, but despite this, we got the same response again:
Amazon Email Response:
"Hello,
We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a selling on Amazon account.
Why did I receive this message?
You cannot sell on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon European stores if you do not have a selling on Amazon account.
If you register any new accounts, we may also decline them.
The Amazon Payments team."
We are unsure but the issue may be related to something with the beneficial owner's address in Amazon’s system, but we’re unable to update it now.
Has anyone else experienced something similar or found a way to get proper help from Amazon in situations like this? We’re stuck and don’t know how to move forward since there seems to be no way they could reject an official Residency Certificate.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
