Excess Inventory Fees

I received an email instructing me to remove some inventory or face fees.

I do have a lot of inventory because I am about to release an app to drive sales but it is not ready yet.

Anyway, I went into the Manage Excess Inventory page and the Estimated Storage Costs are scary. I have attached a couple of screen shots. Is this estimated storage cost yearly? Will I definitely have to pay what is written here?

I think this is because my product will be about to hit the long term storage fees?

Thanks

No, you won’t have to pay those fees at this stage. If you read further down it says those fees would be payable after 12 months if you took no action. Its very simple. If goods are not selling, then there’s no point in having them in a FC incurring storage fees. You would be better off removing them if you can. As soon as Amazon inform us of any excess units, we remove them. Amazon only charge a very small removal fee so it’s worth doing.
