Is anyone else experiencing a lot of lost messages from this service? Recently, I received 18 lost messages out of 20 orders. I sent emails like: "Your parcel was delivered on this date and time to a door colour according to the proof of delivery," after verifying the door color using Google Maps. Most of them didn't respond, but two opened A-to-Z claims because, on Amazon's buyer side, the label shows as "Delayed, not yet shipped."
Amazon must delete this service or find a solution. I don’t have time to deal with these cheating, thieving people because of Amazon's bug.

It’s not a bug. This is what Amazon encourages customers to do by sending them “your order may be lost, ask the seller for a refund “ emails. The honest ones will ignore them, the chancers will try their luck and the dishonest ones will go to AtoZ and they will get refunded.
if you use tracked services, most of these claims stop but not all.
Customers don’t think of this as shoplifting, they just think that they are getting Amazon to pay them back some of their profits. But shoplifting it is, much of it from small shop owners.
18/20 is a huge percentage. Even if just 2/20 turn into AZs, it's still a lot :(
Are these the type of items that attract scammers?
A first scan does not mean the item has been delivered.
As @Seller_RAXEWLxQ2dbmNsaid, 18 out of 20 is ridiculous, if correct.
Most of my orders go tracked but I send large letters with RM48. If I ever get a "lost" message from customers, I tell them to wait another week which puts most scammers off and they don't come back. I've only actually refunded 3 or 4 this year and only 1 went to AtoZ. I don't know how many orders were sent RM48 in 2024, maybe 1000.
We (being a pro FBM seller) started adding a shipping charge and send everything tracked, even our cheap items. It's cut out this nonsense Amazon pushes as great customer service to zero. OK our sales were reduced but to be honest what's the point having loads of sales if you are constantly having to refund 10, 15, 20% to fraudulent buyers and having it hit both your bottom line and metrics
This is my template and works quite well. I do also use the report Customer for fraudulent activity on the Amazon page.
Hi
On investigation Royal Mail insist your item was delivered in full on the 19th of December at 11:50.
This is a small letter package that is posted direct through your letter box and not left outside in a safe place.
Your tracking number is 3B06B274243D If you need to speak direct with Royal Mail.
I have attached a copy of your proof of delivery for your records.
As Royal Mail State it has been delivered they will now only speak with yourself for any claim.
I have reported the missing item to Amazon and Royal Mail for their record to support any fraudulent claims..
Sorry I can't be any more helpful.
Kind Regards
Craig
use a tracked service.. at least there is a proper delivery scan
Welcome to Amazon, this is why we are running down our Amazon market and concentrating on other sales outlets, like the bay. Amazon is all about letting the scammers screw small companies like us. I have absolutely no issue if a genuine customer has a genuine issue, I will go out of my way to sort it, but when you have a signature, a photo of the scammer holding the parcel at their door as it is delivered confirmed by google maps and amazon says "sorry you have not provided any evidence the order was delivered" we have no chance.
If we all switch off the FBM for some time, Amazon might start noticing us as a contributor to their platform rather than competitors.
