I'm UK based and use FBA to sell to UK and the EU countries that Amazon ship UK FBA stock to: Italy, Germany etc. I'm currently being bombarded by emails and phone calls telling me of GPSR changes in December and I'm really confused by the 'EU Responsible Person' requirement. Can this be someone based in the UK or do they have to be EU based and if so do I need one in each country that I ship to? If it has to be an EU based person I'm probably going to have to stop shipping to EU which would be a blow as I'm based only in the UK.

Starting in December, we’ll need an EU Responsible Person name printed on all items. I now have a company I can use for this, but I sent items to Amazon EU FBA in July. When I sent the goods, I calculated that they would run out by December but some of it was lost and then added back to inventory later.

Now, I have stock that likely won’t sell out by December. Amazon has advised removing any stock that doesn’t have the EU Responsible Person information. I’m looking for a solution—perhaps Amazon or another company can add a label to these items. Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution?

We sell only Compact Discs, Vinyl Records, Blu-Rays to EU and UK, none of them carry the CE mark. I do not see any listings on Amazon that have a responsible person already listed in the listing.

Are these products excempt from this regulation?
