48 hours NO ORDERS !!!

"It's been a full 48 hours without a single order—nothing!!! YES, we're down 50% from last year, and sales are almost 80% lower than the average over the last decade. But to see it this dead in November of all months? This is supposed to be the busy season! I just can't believe it.

And after paying massive shipping costs (almost 4x the usual) and placement fees—which feel like another huge cut—it’s beyond frustrating. What’s even left for us at this point?"

Hello @Seller_8uhbDU8jvbHdg- and sorry to hear about the lull. Hopefully things pick back up as we get closer to Black Friday/Cyber Monday and into the Holiday season in full earnest.

In case it's useful, I'll share some resources that can help boost sales, and I would recommend taking a look through this post detailing preparation actions leading up to Black Friday.

The first step is to use the Listing Quality Dashboard and take a good look at your product detail pages. Is all the information you would find on a product in a physical store present (e.g. sizing, dimensions, materials, etc.)? Be sure to fill in any informational gaps utilizing your detail page.

2. Second, enhance your detail pages once you have the basics down. These enhancements will help to provide further education for your customers on the benefits of your product. A well-built and enhanced detail page can also help set you apart from competitors and create more trust with customers.

3. Next, optimize your search terms to ensure relevancy in your category. This is how customers will discover your products while they are browsing and searching for things. Be sure you are utilizing terms that make sense for your product and increase the likelihood of surfacing your product in search. After peak times like the holidays, customer shopping behavior can change pretty drastically so we suggest doing some research and taking a look at what is relevant now.

4. Finally, take your selling strategy to the next level and consider Advertising. Ads can help capture new customer bases and increase your brand awareness.

Hopefully there is some useful information for you in this content, and thanks for looking to the forums!

Best,

Danny
