I am confused as hell

So I have just started out. I have shipped in 200 units of my first product. Only 100 show up as in stock and it doesn’t say anything about the rest. I try to sell some of the 100 as I’m waiting for amazon to get back to me about the rest of my stock. I tried to look for my product in an incognito window and it doesn’t show up. I try to type in the ASIN, and it doesn’t show up. It only shows up when I use PPC campaign. I have told amazon about this and I’ve been waiting 3 days. I have also wasted money on PPC when it’s probably not helping me get ranked as my product doesn’t even show up. What do I do guys?

What does your shipment say in the reconcile tab? Were all the boxes received?

Is your account fully verified? Whats the ASIN?

I’m not sure on why the PPC works but Information Provided means your account is not fully verified which is why it doesn’t appear in searches as yet

Have you submitted everything, bank details, business details, UTR etc?

For HMRC you dont until you’ve hit £1000 turnover but Amazon insist on it and will require you to have a business account as a sole trader. Once you start selling, they usually ask for the invoices and details etc of your suppliers for 3 ASINs to check your items are genuine and you could end up suspended if its not a business account.

Just remember too that as a business I’m assuming you’ve paid for your 200 units already and if they’ve shipped probably bought them in the 2020/21 tax year (before April 6th) so you can use that in your accounts as a business and offset other tax you might have paid.

It sounds like potentially you are almost sorted if you can create listings and sell its just not fully done, you’ll also have to wait at least 4 weeks probably until you get money from those sales

Did you ship them with UPS, were they in more than one box? Have you tracked the boxes?

Amazon are moving a lot of stuff between fulfilment centres at the moment so there’s a chance they’ve just sent the other box elsewhere in the country in which case it will appear.

I get its frustrating, we’ve all been there, if you’re going to sell well on Amazon, patience is something you definitely need!

Possibly if it was sent directly from the supplier they might need to ask for it, but use those words so they dont just get you a delivery confirmation. Even though signatures arent used during covid, Amazon stamp everything so that confirms it to them.

Hang fire a little longer I’d suggest, definitely dont chase Amazon as that wont help you, if you’ve sent everything right and the bank details are set up etc it shouldnt be too long. Business accounts are taking 3 months but it seems personal ones are much quicker

In the meantime, go through the seller university, loads of useful stuff in there and feel free to ask on here too

Make sure you’re searching with a UK postcode selected. Check above your inventory to see if the listing is suppressed which seems likely if it can’t be found via ASIN.
