We have had a few 'Suspected' Violations', so Amazon assume we are as guilty as hell, as all Sellers are liars, and cheats of course..
Raised SS Case: 10415937652 - but really getting nowhere, any suggestions anyone, or see if Mods can change things as a mad Amazon policy.
If AMAZON tells a Seller to Edit the listing as the way around the Violation issue, then Amazon should let them edit it, no matter what (even if Brand registered), OR, let Amazon manually override the listing (with proof), OR, better still not be a policy violation, and still be allowed to change if possible.
We have been told by Account Health, this is an ongoing problem, but as Amazon policy, they can only tell us how to save an Account, which is basically, try and edit the listing, then if not changed within 24 hours (or impossible to change if it shows Brand registered for example), Close the Listing + Delete the Listing (within 48 hours from being notified) and the account Health should be ok.
I asked what about all of the Genuine Stock with the exact Brand as listed, he indicated, without exactly saying Generic is now very popular, your own listing but do not mention the real brand name anywhere to have another violation.
Nearly all are 'Radioshack' as the brand violation, but, we cannot Edit the ASIN, as guess who it is brand registered to.... yes, Radioshack. - so the photo shows it is a Radioshack item, the listing shows it is a Radioshack item, yet we get told off for using the CORRECT brand on the listing (many were not even listed by us and many items have been on Amazon since 2009 - so took Amazon 15 years to come up with an issue!).
It looks like recently the brand was now registered. However, showing as 'R Radioshack' - rather than just Radioshack, but as we cannot alter to that either as locked by Amazon, how can we be incorrect for showing as 'Radioshack' and if it is really only 'R Radioshack' as the brand, then the name not being in full should not be a violation! - We would even change the manufacturer to just be blank, or whatever Amazon require, but it cannot be edited to do that. So, mostly we have deleted and closed all the listings, which does not help anyone.
Amazon is already filling up with 'Generic' items, that are not really generic, no wonder, so another problem caused by them.
Brand registry really was not thought through by Amazon, a good idea in theory, not in practice.
