Important information about your Amazon.com listings for MARVEL
Hello,
To ensure a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, we are implementing additional qualifications to sell MARVEL products given the sensitive nature of these products. Specifically, we are now limiting offers to domestic sellers with a track record of steady availability and sales of significant inventory supply. To determine whether you will remain qualified to sell these products, we are now requiring sellers to provide evidence of a supply chain greater than 100 units of inventory from a verifiable supplier. If we do not receive supply chain documentation that meets these requirements by MARVEL, we will remove your listings.
This action does not impact your account health, and you are still eligible to list other products on the Amazon store. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause you.
How can I keep my listings active?
To continue selling MARVEL products on Amazon, respond to this message and provide all the requested information and documents for the specified listings:
-- Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 365 days that show a quantity of items of at least 100. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible.
-- Contact information for your supplier, including the business name, phone number, address (where applicable), email, and website. We may call your supplier to verify the documents. We will maintain the confidentiality of your supplier contact information.
You can send .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files. These documents must be authentic and unaltered, other than removing or redacting pricing information.
Were your listings removed as a result of an error?
If you believe your products have been misclassified as MARVEL, please contact Selling Partner Support with evidence to support this claim.
Can I sell my remaining inventory?
If you have remaining inventory of the affected products in Amazon fulfillment centers, you will not be able to continue selling your remaining inventory after the date above unless we receive updated supply chain documents. If you would like to have this inventory removed to you, Amazon will cover the cost of the inventory removal. For help creating a removal order, see the following:
If you sell via Fulfilled by Merchant, you will be able to continue fulfilling orders until 2025-02-26. After this date, your offers will be removed unless we receive updated supply chain documents.
We're here to help. For more information about products that require approval, search for Categories and products requiring approval in Seller Central, or see
Sincerely, Seller Performance Team
--------------------------------------------------------
There is no information on if we can buy additional units to satisfy this requirement. Marvel is a small part of our business so we typically only order about 50-60 of the $150 omnibus collections per year. So i guess we're just going to drop the brand on Amazon now.
Anyone else know about this?

I just got the same email, for Universal and Hasbro too. Not sure why it’s all happening today.
I received the notice at 2:39PM PST, isn't ot wonderful of Amazon to allow you 10 and a half hours to get all your documentation and whatever else in that span and sent to them?
"If you sell via Fulfilled by Merchant, you will be able to continue fulfilling orders until 2025-02-26. After this date, your offers will be removed"
Is there some way to determine which items in your FBA inventory are currently considered MARVEL?
Marvel Comic: ASIN B002XPPEOM Bizarre Adventures, Edition# 34 Published February 1983 now requires an invoice Dated on or after Aug 31, 2024 (within 180 days). This comic has been out of print since 1983, how are sellers supposed to get an invoice within 180 days?
I have gotten this email for the following:
Mattel
Hasbro Gaming
Monopoly
"To ensure a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, we are implementing additional qualifications to sell MONOPOLY products given the sensitive nature of these products."
The first request, " Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier issued in the last 365 days that show a quantity of items of at least 100. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible."
I don't sell New products. I don't have any invoices. I only sell really old, Collectible games.
What is going on.
The letter states 100 units in the last 365 days, however when I go to any product under the brand that I received the warning for and try to edit the listing it brings a reguest approval link and once there is the place to submit documents, however it is requiring the 100 units but it is only showing dated Sept. 1st (within 180 days).
Email also states an authorization letter from the supplier which I was going to request and try that to get approved, but does not give that option where you submit the documents
Apparantly they are not giving 365 days, it has to be 180 days.
It used to be to get approved, you only had to submit 10 units in 180 days. No way I can submit 100 units in 180 days. There goes 90% of my Amazon Buisness
It seems that a major initiative is being rolled out to push small sellers out of the Amazon marketplace. I wouldn't be surprised if someone claims this as their biggest achievement during their performance review
Was your notice sent from a "no reply" email account?
I received notices for Rubbermaid, Starbucks, 3M and Monster High. No way to supply invoices, etc.
I went to Account Health to "call me". I was transferred 3 times (spoke to 4 people), and the last one disconnected the call after 34 minutes on the line, most of it on hold.

I received over 50 notifications. Almost every brand in my catalog has an email. Is this real?
I am about to lose my mind. Please moderator advise on this.
I created a case and the rep. stated that yes these are the new requirements. Really? Like every brand just decided this. He said it is not Amazon but each brand's requirements.
Someone please assist.
