Any way to set OTDR for my home state to 5-8 days like all other states ?
Hello Fellow Sellers,
Amazon has set the default OTDR at 5-8 days for all other states , except for my own state of California , which is set at 2-4 days max.
I have had very few "late" deliveries, always in California
Is there any thing that I can do about this ?
Thanks in advance for any strategy on this
:-)

I was just about to type out detailed instructions for how to do this, but looking at the edit function, I see that you can't do it.
@KJ_Amazon@Bryce_Amazon@Atlas_AmazonIs there any way around this? I personally don't have a problem, but I live in a state a fraction the size of CA. it's not fair to punish sellers for OTDR if you don't allow them to set a time frame that matches with reality.

Hi @Seller_JdvLAF4wnFCmQ,
The shorter transit time you're seeing for California is a feature called "Faster Regional Transit Time". According to the help page (under "Enable faster transit time"), Amazon automatically offers faster delivery options for the region where your default shipping address is located.
If you'd like to adjust this, you can try:
- Going to Settings > Shipping Settings
- Opening your shipping template
- Looking for the regional shipping rule
- Updating to a slower transit time option (like 2-4 business days)
Just keep in mind that according to Amazon's shipping requirements (under "Shipping service levels"), standard shipping transit times should be 3-7 days for Continental U.S. This helps maintain good delivery metrics while giving you more flexibility with shipping times.
Hope this helps explain what's happening and gives you some options to work with!
Best regards, Michael
